Abstract
This research study analysis of the positive politeness strategies and education values of Frozen 1 movie. This study’s results are categorized into two groups. The first categorized of this research is to know positive politeness strategies in the Frozen 1 movie. The second categorized of this research is to find out the education values in the Frozen 1 movie. The research method is descriptive qualitative method with data analysis technique, that is content analysis design. The result tends to focus on the deep meaning of the dialogue’s quality rather than the quantity of number. The data of this research are taken from utterances in dialogs by the main characters in the movie. The instrument of this research is the researcher herself who collects, analyzes, and presents the data findings of the research then draws the conclusions. The researcher analyzed the utterances of the main characters taken from the script of Frozen 1 movie used politeness strategy’s theory proposed by Brown and Levinson and educational values based on ministry of education were included. Finally the researcher find out of the kind positive politeness strategy, they are 15 strategies of positive politeness strategy. From the result, the researcher has found 36 data which content of positive politeness strategies. Also the researcher find out of the kind educational values, they are 26 theories of educational values. From the result, the researcher has found 22 data which content of educational values theories.
