Abstract

Every human requires education. One of the most basic things in education is moral. Humans require moral education because knowledge without moral is meaningless. This study was conducted to determine the moral values and types of moral values in Onward movie. This research is a descriptive qualitative research because the data is in the form of words, not statistical data. The subject of this research is the main character in Onward movie. The data from this research are scenes in Onward movie which contain moral values. The author as the main instrument in this research. The process of collecting data from this research is triangulation. The data were analyzed using several theories from Lawrence Kohlberg and Richard H. Hersh. The results of this study indicate that the author found several moral values and types of moral values in Onward movie. The author conclude that there are 12 types of moral values which following: 1) Curiosity 2) Strong motivation for succes 3) Action oriented 4) Appreciate achievements 5) Hard work (Toil) 6) Responsibility 7) Never give up 8) Innovative 9) Cooperation 10) Dare to take risks 11) Creative 12) Honesty
