Abstract
This thesis discussesThe Use of Word Composing Game To Improve Student’s Ability In Analyzing Simple Present Tense At MA Ihyaul Uum Wedarijaksa Pati. The researcher is interested in researching the title because the Word Composing Game media as a fairly effective learning medium can make it easier for students to learn, especially in simple present tense subjects. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the use of the word composing game to improve student’s ability in analyzing simple present tense, and (2) Tosupporting and obstacle in the use of word composing game to improve student’s ability in analyzing simple present tense. This research uses field research, where the reseacher goes directlty to MA Ihyaul Ulum Wedarijaksa Pati. The research used a qualitative to analyze the data. There is Data collection techniques in this study used observation as participants, structured interviews, and documentation. Researchers used primary data sources and secondary data. The data analysis technique was carried out with data reduction, data presentation, and verification data. The subjects of this study were the headmaster, curiculum, the English teacher, and students. The results of this study found that 1) The use of word-composing games in this study was in the form of guided discovery learning. In using word-composing games, students try to discuss it with their group mates, and analyze the work of other groups. Experimental Analysis of the Type of Application of the Use of Word Composing Games to Improve Students' Ability in Analyzing Simple Present Tense at MA Ihyaul Uum Wedarijaksa Pati. to improve students' ability to analyze simple present tense. 2) Support and constraints in the use of word-composing games. students can do with cooperation between groups, students become active. However, in the use of word composing games there are differences of opinion among group friends. In this researchcan be concluded that students can improve their ability to analyze simple present tense by using word-composing games. and students are interested and motivated through the game. The use of games can make students feel happy and not bored during the learning process.
