Abstract
Intellectual disability is a condition characterized by below average intellectual functioning. This condition often affects children in learning, especially when learning English. The aims of this research are: 1)To discuss the problems faced by teachers when teaching English to students with intellectual disabilities.2) To discuss how teachers overcome the problems encountered when teaching children with intellectual disabilities.
